| Chemistry Cards - Rummy |
|
This game is played just like the traditional version. For scoring purposes, numbered cards are worth face value and Wild and A cards are worth 10 points. Objective Be the first player to reach the ageed-upon score or the highest score in the allotted time. During a round, be the first player to get rid of all cards by forming matches (3 or more of the same number), sequences (3 in a row in the same suit), or molecules. These are called "melds". Setup Deal seven cards to each player if there are three or four players. Deal six cards to each player if there are five or six players. Place the remaining cards in the center face down. This pile is called the "draw" pile. Remove the top card from the draw pile and place it face up to become the "discard" pile. Play The player to the left of the dealer starts. This player picks the top card from either the draw or the discard pile. The player can then lay down any melds. Next the player can add cards to other player's melds. Finally the player discards and play moves to the next player. The round ends when a player is out of cards. The winner of the round receives points for all of the cards in the other player's hands. The deal passes to the next player and a new round begins. If no one goes out before the draw pile is used up, then the discard pile is flipped over to become the draw pile. If no one goes out after the draw pile is used up again then the round ends and a new round begins. |
